CleanTech Vanadium Mining has completed the acquisition of the rights to the El Triunfo gold-antimony project in Bolivia from Silver Elephant Mining for CAD 155,000 (USD 112,430) in cash. The project is located near the capital city of La Paz and covers approximately 256 hectares. On April 8, 2025, the two companies reached an agreement allowing CleanTech to take over Silver Elephant's rights to purchase 100% of Mururata, which holds the mining rights to the Triunfo project. Oracle Commodity Holding, a major shareholder of CleanTech, also holds a significant stake in Silver Elephant, establishing a related-party relationship between the two companies under Multilateral Instrument 61-101. The transaction's value does not exceed 25% of CleanTech's market capitalization, approximately CAD 6.45 million as of August 5, 2025, allowing CleanTech to benefit from exemptions to formal valuation and minority shareholder approval requirements.
Silver Elephant's exploration work at El Triunfo yielded positive results, with initial drilling in 2020 discovering a 49-meter gold mineralized zone with grades of 0.42 g/t gold, 35 g/t silver, 1.2% zinc, and 0.8% lead. The mineralization at El Triunfo is hosted in metamorphic sedimentary rocks dating back to the Silurian and Devonian periods. These metamorphic sedimentary rocks have been intruded by igneous batholiths, believed to be related to the mineralization event. This type of mineralization is not uncommon in Bolivia, with similar occurrences found at Cerro Rico and Porco.
Silver Elephant's initial drilling program confirmed the extensive continuity of the mineralization, extending at least 225 meters along strike and remaining open at depth beyond 100 meters in an east-west direction. Mineralization is primarily found within altered black shales, characterized by concentrated hydrothermal quartz-carbonate veinlets clustered on a regional anticlinal fold structure.
